"Vesuv 79"

This name refers to my interest in roman history and the conspicuous structure the clear agate has. For me the two small objects in the stone represents the chimney of the volcano and the brownish build mushroom form the ash cloud above. The black and white column represents the smoke, the ash and the steam cloud at the corner of the hill. The lamp's column is made out of one piece of white, black and clear Spectrum glass.

Mass of the Lamp: Height: 585mm (nearly 2 feet), Width: 179mm, Depth: 155mm,
Agate slice: 179mm x 162mm mm
