"Longline"

The lamps column is cut out of one disk black, white and clear Baroque glass manufactured by Spectrum. Particularly the elegant, white/ black alignment of the glass plate pleases me. The name of this inimitable lamp refers to this black " Long Line" runs continuously 1 1/2 times round the column. The much white pattern on this glass plate with high contrasts draws wasn't easy to cut.

The luminosity and the contrast of the lighted agate make excessive demands of the abilities of my camera and human eyes see much better and more. The last photo ; "the lighted Lamp LongLine seen from steep above" perspective especially is much too red and dark. But please click in 5 or 7 to see the little flames in this crystal disk larger!
