Lamp of the months

"Tornado"

The columns shaft of this inimitable lamp is all around made out of the strips of a black, white and clear spectrum Baroque glass plate. This glass is very hard to work with, because when you melt all 3 glass groups together they vary in size and thickness. The black flare in the middle of the orange agate plate and the black/white spiral pattern lead me to the name of the object since it is a very crazy and complicated mixture. The link above leads to an American site on which you can see videos of so called tornado chasers .

Mass of the lamp: Height: 575mm (a little bit less than 2 feet) Width: 175mm Depth: 142mm
Agate slice: 155mm times 148mm, width: 6,1mm
